Chris Simpson – Carnets de Voyage

Carnets de Voyage is a collection of photographs by the award winning photographer Chris Simpson. These black and white photographs are works that Simpson made from 1987 to 2010 and represent a curated selection, designed by Bradbury & Williams, in conjunction with Atlas Gallery – who represent his work at their gallery in London. There is also is larger signed and beautifully digital printed collector’s edition of just 100 copies which we also produced.

Our colour manager worked closely with Chris to achieve the optimum results for his black and white and sepia photographs. Working in partnership through each image to manipulate and colour correct achieving improved contrast, depth, saturation and tonality in the final printed book doing his stunning photographs justice.

We advised on the various paper options and print techniques to achieve the desired result for his imagery, as well as working to create a fitting slip case to present the book which was cloth bound in Brillianta from Winters & Co and foiled.
